Situated between these two powerful rivers, the region presents itself as a unique collection of picturesque diversities of nature with its beauty on one hand and ethnicity, culture, religion and social characteristics on the other. A full moon night spent in the foothills of Annapurna with the sound of avalanches in the background and a mountain range bathed in sharp crystal clear moonbeam is an experience that cannot be described adequately. You will have to experience it. This region is also famous for hosting a number of Himalayan ranges over 8000 metres such as Annapurna 1 and Dhaulagiri which offers a great challenge to those mountaineers who consider themselves to be top grade professional Alpinists or enthusiastic beginners.
