Your trek begins with a 35minutes scenic flight to Lukla. The trek takes you up the beautiful Dudh Kosi valley to Namche Bazaar, the most important town in the region, where you can witness the traditional Saturday market. You continue on to the beautiful Tengboche monastery, surrounded by Himalayan forests considered sacred and abounding in wildlife. Amidst breathtaking panoramas of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam you make your way back to Namche, and finally on to Lukla. The relaxed itinerary allows an extra day for acclimatization & exploration. Tengboche trek is a fascinating introduction to the world's highest mountain, the legendary Sherpa people inhabiting its rugged terrain, and the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal.
