This is an ideal short trek. Helambu which means 'potato and radish' in local language is mainly inhabited by Sherpas and Tamangs. The scenic grandeur and pleasant climate with a long history of Buddhism with ancient culture and tradition is the trademark of this magnificent area. The eye-catching view of Langtang, Gaurishankar Dorje Lakpa and Panchpokhari can be seen along with enchanting flora and fauna and the charming local inhabitants.

Day 4 - Tharepati- Melamchi Gaun (2560m) 4/5hrs approx.
Day 5 - Melamchi- Tarkeghyang (2740m) 6/7hrs approx.
Day 6 - Tarkeghyang - Sermathang (2590m) 5hrs approx
Day 7 - Sermathang - Melamchi bazaar drive back to Katmandu 5+5hrs.
